Welcome to My Website!
Welcome! My name is Panyu Chen, and this is my website where I share my research and my personal life.
About Me
I am a Master’s student in the Department of Computer Science at Duke University. In 2023, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Honors Mathematics from New York University Shanghai. Check my CV and thesis here!
Research
My research interests lie in the intersection of machine learning, network sciences, and applied mathematics. I’m exploring the idea of using data-driven methods to capture the mechanisms behind complex system dynamics (e.g., nervous system, early prognosis, physical systems) and the underlying structure of data. I’m particularly excited about how graph-based methods and inherently interpretable models will advance the most recent studies in these domains.
Cloud-castle: how will the future artificial way of thinking, reasoning, and creating be like? How do future “intelligent” systems make decisions, investigations, and innovations, and deliver their “ideas” to humans?
Feel free to explore the Research page to learn more about my work! Papers will be added as soon as they are published or uploaded to arXiv, bioRxiv, or medRxiv.
Contents beyond research can be found on the Off Campus page.
